Thank you so much for your interest in and continued support of the World's Greatest Football Fan contest!

We launched this initiative several weeks ago, hoping to spread the positive theme of internationally genuine camaraderie amongst football fans, and we received thousands of impressively enthusiastic entries. Unfortunately, the international governing organization that oversees all regulated Football activity, has forced us to suspend the contest at this time. This means that contestants preparing for the voting rounds should shift their energy into supporting their favorite teams this June with the same vigor that they infused into the World's Greatest Football Fan. As football/soccer fans ourselves, we are frustrated to have encountered this impasse.

We fully expect and intend to be back with a much bigger, better contest for Brazil 2014: crazier rounds and grander prizes, but the same love for the greatest sport in the world.
